I think I've finally reached a place where fluff don't cut it.

It feels cheap to get it or give it. Life is too short. Thanks again. jeff :)

Jeff,

I wish I could take credit for the statement, but I can only take responsibility for my past behavior that has reflected it. So please, by all means, use it if it can help others to let go of bitterness.

And I am humbled by your kind words! Coming from you, I know they aren't just words said to fluff someone up.

Bob, once again, you amaze and inspire me with your insight. Your statement about drinking poison is a perfect "parable" to illustrate the point.

I will use it soon, assuming that's okay with you. Thank you.

Dear Jeff,

And if we hold someone in our hearts as needing our forgiveness without doing it in our own hearts, it is like the quote attributed to several people (including actress Carrie Fisher and NewSong's Eddie Carswell). Bitterness sets in and. it is said that bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness "is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die."

I am saying this because I know what it is like to be done wrong by someone so much that I had allowed bitterness to set in. I had to move on, and I am thankful that God can help me with that. I had to ask for forgiveness myself for holding that bitterness. And in letting that person "free," I have found (as my pastor said) that the jail I opened was my own.

Merry Christmas and thank you for all you do!!!!
