Why would we choose the most difficult alternative?

In 1972, a lifetime ago, i won a trip to Disneyland.

 

Of course, it’s hard to make consistently great life choices.

What the heck though.

Isn’t it equally as difficult living with poor choices?

By the way, this applies to our spiritual health as much as it applies to our physical health.

So given the choice, why would we choose the most difficult alternative?
