Love and planning are not mutually exclusive

Yesterday afternoon, i placed a security camera here to see if we have a critter in our porch attic.

While on the ladder, i looked up and was struck by this rare perspective.

Mother’s Day is nine days away.

Several days ago i ordered a couple vases of flowers for a few moms i know.

The flowers will arrive on Tuesday so they can enjoy the flowers the week leading up to next Sunday.

Today is Friday, May 4.

Love and planning are not mutually exclusive.

The peace and contentment emanating from being proactive is challenging to describe.

While not perfect, i am much better at over-focusing on things i used to under-focus on or ignore.

They would die if they didn’t burst open

Flower buds can not help themselves.

They would die if they didn’t burst open.

And their bursting open is invisible to the naked eye.

Our spirit of service to others happens over a long period of time as we move from selfishness to selfless.

Almost invisible to the naked eye, until one day it’s a beautiful blossom (of a human spirit).
