Some Mid Life Celebration blog readers get it (and stay) and some don’t (and leave). It was the same for Jesus too. But no matter. Boomers, if we let what other people think stop us from doing what’s on our faithful heart, no great and important things would ever get done.

Dear Son, life is pretty straight forward. It will be hard, fun, exciting, tempting, fulfilling, heavy, and if we’re lucky, long.

You will work most of you life. In ‘the old days’, most people got a job with a company that took care of them – regular work for regular pay, benefits, opportunity, etc.

The world you’re headed to is one in which old paradigms are being rewritten or crushed.

Pray for guidance as you move through your ‘career’ and support yourself (at first) and then your Family. The earlier you learn and embrace an entrepreneurial spirit, the sooner you’ll have a plan B.
