Leadership is the catalyst

Lead yourself.

Lead others.

Great leaders use this 4-point architecture to lead themselves and others:

  • Vision
  • Development
  • Accountability
  • Commitment

Great leaders are the catalyst for the excellent culture you need to win the future.

Build it.

Maintain it.

Improve it.

Master it.

Single player

Life essentially is a single player game.

You are 100% responsible for all your decisions.

Even, and especially, the one ones leading to failure, embarrassment, conflict, pain.

Conversely, the opposite is true.

Congrats on all your successes, too.

Leading yourself is your first leadership imperative.

All day.

Every day.

God-level.

God-level what?

God-level everything.

God-level Love.

God-level Hope.

Life is funny

Funny how opposites are part of nearly every story.

Life is funny.

And by funny in this context, i mean not funny.

As a Disney Leader, objective assessment, and objective yet empathetic confrontation are critical to building, maintaining, and improving teams and the results they are accountable for.

What works and why it works can be lost on “Disney outsiders” who have only worked in “good enough for government work” careers.

Politics tears apart family, friends, and colleagues generally because of opposing growth-mindsets and closed mindsets.

Your job is to rise above the resistance to change.

Change is the only constant.

Every good thing you currently enjoy is much better than it was for your parents and grandparents.

Biggest believer or go home

Leaders have to believe in things exponentially more convincingly than others. A hard thing to ask any human to do. And why most fail at it.
