First, Dr Atiq, whom I’d never met before, made me feel like a good friend.

Second, we talked.

At length.

I got to know him. He got to know me.

We both liked what we heard.

I’m at his mercy once the anesthesia kicks in. He knows it. I know it.

In a nutshell, I trust him implicitly.

Thankful For Everything

Do you reflect back on the last 24 hours and sort through the events that happened in your life?

You know, to evaluate what was great, good and just okay?

What if you did?

Or, if you are doing this, why do you do it and what keeps you doing it?

Each day is an opportunity to do great things – great things for ourselves, our friends, our families, and especially all those people less fortunate.

Just yesterday, I was blessed beyond measure. Thank you God for your Grace, your mercy and your never-ending love.
