It ain’t the Magic

Disney Keynote Speaker
My knees and shoulders were getting tired enough to make me have to physically take a break and stretch.

The photos with Disney character figurines are cool.

The photos look like the process was quick and easy.

Anything but.

If anyone told you how many hours i spent thinking, planning, deciding, arranging, traveling, organizing, and photographing, you’d be like, “No way.”

Same with the daily number of hours spent writing.

Town Square is such a huge wow

Disney Institute Keynote Speaker
The extra inch is something i operationalized at Disney Institute. Operationalize means you make something a habit.

Once our Guests enter through either tunnel beneath the Walt Disney World Railroad train station, they find themselves in Town Square.

The sounds, the smells, the landscaping, the architecture, the friendly and happy Cast, all of it – a complete immersion stimulating all our senses.

By design.

We pay as much attention to what you see, hear, feel, smell, and taste as we for what you don’t see, hear, or smell.

Town Square is such a huge wow.

But, there is something missing.

You finally realize you don’t see what you expected to see – not realizing it is missing until you’ve adjusted to the wonderful space called Town Square.

Slowly separate reality from the Disney experience

Slowly separate reality from the Disney experience.

That’s the Disney Way.

Walt intentionally created a long drive off the Interstate Highway before you reached the Parking Lot Toll Plaza.

i’ll tell you more at the next blog…

Walt died before we turned the first shovel of dirt

Disney Institute Keynote Speaker
One step and then another.

Walt died before we turned the first shovel of dirt.

People say, “It’s sad that Walt never got to see Walt Disney World.”

To which i reply, “He saw it clearer than anyone, that’s why it’s here today.”

May we all be so privileged

John Zubek Allentown
John Zubek’s wife, my Mother-In-Law Margaret Zubek, began her journey last night at 6:30pm to reunite with “Johnny”. They were married for 60 years.

October 30, 2017.

November 5, 2017.

Six days separated their Earthy life.

May we all be so lucky.

God granted me and Cheryl the distinct privilege to be with Margaret as she took her final breath.

To me, death, especially from “old age”, is a gift.

To personally witness death’s intimacy is one of life’s great miracles.

Even in birth there can be complications and struggles.

Same with death.

Birth is supposed to be joyous.

Why would death be any different?

Live (and die) like you mean it.
