How often do I pray?

How often do you?

For me, as crazy as this may sound, it’s like breathing. It works best when I pray without ceasing.

When I pray “all the time”.

And when I don’t do this, my (spiritual) health suffers.

Last night I prayed for wisdom on a challenging decision I will need to make very soon.

All I could think about was surrendering the choice to God.

Dear Heavenly Father, I surrender. Please bless me with your wisdom and guidance. And please also bless me with your Grace, Mercy and Never-ending Love.

And, Lord, please do this for all my family, all my friends, and especially all those people less fortunate. Amen.

To you, Lord, all Honor and Glory. Use me. I surrender.

May the Peace that surpasses all understanding be with you every minute of this glorious day.

Carpe diem, jeff 🙂

Three and one-half months

That’s how long it’s been since I’ve posted here at . Hard to believe. Hard to admit.

Except for one thing. Know what it is?

I’ve been busy doing all the things you do. Life.

Anyway, I’ve been busy dreaming and writing. In case this sounds like an excuse to you, I’m offering you an opportunity to check. So, here are the other pieces to this “dream puzzle”. Or, maybe it’s a “dream mosaic”. Either way, here it is:

Mid Life is about the choices we make when we discover we aren’t going to live forever.

Lane is about making the choice between Excellence or not Excellent.

Hello world!

Welcome to jeff Expect the unexpected. Expect to be challenged.

If you don’t like either of these, please feel free to leave. I’m okay with that.

When is your funeral?

What do you really want to accomplish in your lifetime?

How long do you think it will take you to do these things? Seriously, how long?

The clock is ticking.
