I’m Drinking Again

Drinking everyday actually. However, this drinking is a good drinking.

Drinking in the small, daily moments of joy.

They are often fleeting moments. Often unnoticed moments.

Do you catch a handful of these? Everyday, I mean?

He Did This To Me

Closed On Sunday For A Reason

“Excuse me!”, he said, as I was leaving the US Air check-in counter at the Charlotte Airport a few minutes ago.

As he approached from the next counter over, pointing to the ground, “Are these your sunglasses?”

“YES!”, I exclaimed. “Thank you very much.”

Thinking my sincere reply was enough to express gratitude, I began walking away. Three steps into the departure I turned around, went back over to his counter and said, “You have no idea how important these inexpensive and scratched up sunglasses are to me.”

He felt good, I felt good.

He did it to me and I paid him back.

Just Yesterday

Thankful For Everything
Thankful For Everything

Do you reflect back on the last 24 hours and sort through the events that happened in your life?

You know, to evaluate what was great, good and just okay?

What if you did?

Or, if you are doing this, why do you do it and what keeps you doing it?

Each day is an opportunity to do great things – great things for ourselves, our friends, our families, and especially all those people less fortunate.

Just yesterday, I was blessed beyond measure. Thank you God for your Grace, your mercy and your never-ending love.

There’s No Way

Think Big. Start Small.
Think Big. Start Small.

As an adult, have you given any consideration to the things you want young people to remember? What if you did simple and easy habits or rituals that would leave an indelible impression on children?

Habits that help teach and shape their young lives and become memories they never forget.

Why? Because this is how we turn the world around.

How? Keep it simple, but profound.

And because your habits and rituals are ridiculously simple to do, and so easy to do, that the only excuse for not doing them is not caring. And how could you not care?

Please consider passing on this concept of care to the next generation. It may be the only hope our planet has.

And it starts with you.
