Hope, healing, and Disney Magic

Gary Sinise at Epcot’s Candlelight Processional last night.

Hope, healing, and Disney Magic.

The Disney pre-show announcer used that exact phrase. Immediately wrote it down knowing i’d blog about it this morning.

Why?

Kinda mysterious, really.

Maybe it’s a type of trifecta that we can easily relate to. Who can’t use a little more hope, healing, or Disney Magic?

Florida mountains

Last night looking East from the roof. Did you catch both objects? Look upper right in photo.

Where do you go in Florida to change your vantage point, to get away, to reflect, to watch the clouds?

The Florida mountains.

Ok, so there are no mountains, obviously, but a second story rooftop is a handy alternative.

Figured out a system to easily get there. Daily if so inclined. Like the past three nights.

Gratitude mindset

Do something meaningful? Save yourself.

Gratitude mindset is a gift we give to others and to ourselves. It is elusive though because of stress.

The last time we volunteered to deliver Food for Families on Easter morning, i said never again.

There has been a steady increase in undeliverable addresses. Meaning you have food and an address to deliver it to, but the address cannot be located with Google Maps, nor in person.

We have decided to move forward with our Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter morning tradition.

How? Why?

Why is a no-brainer. It helps others.

How? We simply surrender to what we can’t control. Undeliverable addresses means that food will be gifted to someone else.

Note: i have initiated to the Ministry, the idea of a digital process enhancement for capturing undeliverable and/or non-existent addresses.

Don’t let what you can’t do stop you from what you can do.

Doing it again

Behind the Church again. It is completely dark yet somehow the new iPhone’s camera has a low light feature that stunningly makes this photo look like dawn – it’s pitch black in reality.

Doing it again, but with a slight creative change.

Two days ago all five blog posts were written on an iPhone while walking to and from the gym.

Today, only this website is being written while walking. All five blog posts today are using photos from today’s walk, taken and added as i walk.

The significant, yet easily overlooked, insight is the glimpse into how i am slowly experimenting with an entirely different way to blog. Much of our progress is imperceptible, until one day, bam, a breakthrough.

Be flexible and nimble

Disney Innovation Keynote Speakers
Today’s posts are not overtly Disney Keynote speaking related.

Be flexible and nimble.

The GoDaddy hosting account migration photos i took yesterday aren’t loading onto this post.

Why?

No idea.

Solution?

Tried a plan-B but that plan didn’t work either, so that’s why you see the photo above.

Ultimately, it still themes to yesterday’s efforts.

There is no automatic upgrade from my original (now old, Legacy) GoDaddy account to the latest and greatest hosting features.

A time-consuming manual process is required for each (16 total) individual domain name.

Thank goodness for Rob at Webidextrous.
