My college aged daughter and I were talking about this, in away. Our conversation was about really knowing a parent loves you. Our conclusion was a trail of love is founded in everyday things and circumstances. It is founded in the little things, small acts of kindness, gentle words, reassuring hugs. Then there is never any guess work years later.
