Welcome Your New Opportunity

Happy New Year 2011!

This is not for everyone, but those with a terminal illness are fully cognizant of living like you are dying, because, well, they are.

Do as much good as you can, as often as you can, to as many people as you can. And remember, the first ministry starts at home.

  1. Jeff,

As always, thanks for the challenge and the push for more. This life is the “Big Show” – the one God gave us!

I am reminded of Phillips, Craig, and Dean’s song, “This Is the Life.” The chorus says:

    This is the life
    I’m where I wanna be
Livin’ from the center of a heart that’s free
    Oh, I’m feelin’ alright
Day or night, rain or shine
    This is the life

Your encouragement and proddings help to remind us to keep our focus! 🙂 Thanks, Jeff, and Happy New Year!

  2. Bob, sorry, did you think I’m trying to encourage and prod others?

Truth be told….the writing is for that voice inside that tells me to quit.
When I “joke” about selfishly trying to help myself, it’s not a joke.

The fact that others find it helpful is God’s Divine Providence to give me another day, another opportunity….

PS. You’re welcome. And thanks for your kind words. You my friend, are the encourager. 🙂

  3. Patty, perhaps. In my line of work, it seems I see a lot more than most – the travel, the different people – coupled with a restless, disruptive thinking habit.

If we could all come to not fear death and to start living – maybe it’s impossible…
