Being intentional with the inevitable

Being intentional with the inevitable.

No one gets younger.

No one lives forever.

When someone lives a long time (think 80, 85, 90+), we can begin to feel (because we hope it will happen) like they’ll live forever.

One slip, one sudden or tough illness, or simply Mother Nature wearing out and the departure to the afterlife quickly begins.

The time to be ready is before it happens.

Yeah, looks good on paper but who have you witnessed do it?

Most of us answer, “No one.”

So how do you do it?

My theory – be intentional.

Say the things (now) you would want to say if the end was certain.

Ask the questions you’ll regret never asking.

On April Fool’s Day 2009, jeff noel began writing five daily, differently-themed blogs (on five different sites). It was to be a 100-day self-imposed “writer’s bootcamp”, in preparation for writing his first book. He hasn’t missed a single day since.
