jeff noel Enjoying Christmas Music

Have been thinking about Christmas. A lot.

Started to listen to Christmas music today. Completely ready for it.

Historically, Christmas comes and goes with amazing speed. Wouldn’t it be great to have a Christmas where we saw it coming and savored it in a way that will become memorable for the rest of our life?

How many men out there are shopping on Christmas eve? How is it possible for time to pass and all of a sudden, “Oh crap wait, I better get some Christmas gifts.”?

In transforming old habits, a new way of thinking will need to be applied. It may be as simple as a passion to change, and enjoying some Christmas music.

  1. Dear Jeff,

For our house, we have been hearing Christmas music for about 2 months now. My older son has been learning some Christmas recital pieces on the piano for his piano teacher, so we have been hearing it a lot. But last Saturday was our true, first jump into the “Christmas spirit,” as my wife went to a women’s conference with church all day. What did the boys and I do? We cranked up the Christmas music and rearranged furniture in preparations for Christmas decorating. Amazing how easy and willing they are to clean the house when they know Christmas tree decorating is right behind it. 🙂

I do love Christmas – I just wish the real meaning meant more to everyone. Getting should always be a distant second from giving. And Jesus was the greatest gift!

    Bob
