Is there the possibility of maintaining the friendship the letters, emails, or the phone?
Patty, yes. Spoke to Bobbye two days ago.
The real point is all the unfulfilled intentions of walking over to their house to chat about the neighborhood, their two grandsons, the weather, their health….
One really busy day turns into another, and another, and another and before you know it, the short walk out our back gate into their back yard… well, means nothing now.
Yes… I think I’ll call my neighbor today for a walk. Thanks for the prompt.
Patty, sieze the day!
