This one very simple, and very special attribute is the key to thriving in midlife…

Gratitude —

Thankful for the basics this morning. A home, a family, food, safe water, sight, hearing, mobility, steady job, benefits. And a goal that keeps me motivated to live uncommonly well (balanced).

  1. Jeff this post hit home in a strange way. Every morning I thank God for a list very similar to your post here AND thanking Him for safe water is on my list too. So easy to take for granted yet so very important to our existence. Imagine life without safe water, then imagine life without water at all. I am grateful.

  2. Donna, the saying, “We don’t know what we have until it’s gone” rings as clear as a Church bell on a quiet Sunday morning.
