25th Trip
25th Trip

I’m thankful for a spotty Internet signal.

It drove me craaaazy for the first few days. It was not what I expected.

The unexpected happens to us all the time, right?

We mainly stereotype “the unexpected” with negative connotations.

Guess it’s just conditioning.

We can also undo this conditioning.

I’m thankful for a slow (like dial-up slow) connection. No, seriously.

Because a slow connection, beats no connection.

Blessings come in all shapes and sizes, and sometimes, blessings have no resemblance whatsoever.

  1. Dude. You think you have spotty internet connections. Just spent the last week and a half in Kastorio. Population 500 maybe. No Internet. The pace was a little difficult to get used to for us fast paced going a hundred mile an hour Americans. Was befriended by so many villagers. Tears actually fell on our behalf as well left yesterday. Good people in the mountains of Greece. See ya real soon.

  2. Europe, particularly your visit to Greece, sounds Heavenly.

Their pace of life seems so romantic, so, old-fashioned.

There are pros and cons to every situation.

No one talks about the “no-see-ums” that eat you alive on the Florida Beaches.

We always talk about the lovely sunrises, sunsets, Gulf Coast breezes, palm trees and fresh seafood.

Hope you expected your Internet to be what it was.

    I did not.

Good luck at World’s. I’m familiar with the landscape there. 🙂
