Evan is a retail clerk in West Glacier. Cheryl struck up a conversation (like we both do) while we experienced Glacier.

Evan wanted to summit a Glacier peak. He had no chance, until Cheryl discovered his wish and knew i was itching to get back up on Oberlin. Shortly after summiting, Evan shared his notebook. He invites people from his travel/summer/work to sign his notebook. Some wrote one line, some a few sentences. The high-achiever in me logged a full page.

Gotta say, All Trails App is misleading me (and EVERYONE) with their summit elevations. How do i know? i’ve been summiting these peaks and using my iPhone Compass app to verify my attitude. Their altitude declarations are a disservice to everyone.

If you are advising people who trust you, deliver on your promise to be accurate.

If you really think about, not being accurate is lying. Simple as that.

Truth does not have a percentage of correctness.

Anything other than 100% accuracy is a lie.
