Doing nothing

Mt Wilbur
Glacier National Park Many Glacier valley looking West toward Mount Wilbur at 9,326 feet tall.

Being brave may separate you from people who aren’t as brave.

Not everyone wants you to be successful.

They’ll never tell you, and their efforts to sabotage you may or may not be consciously applied.

Yet the efforts are applied nonetheless.

Your success directs you and your resources away from them, generally.

Be careful not to use this phenomenon as an excuse to wait and do nothing.

Quote from Thomas Paine

Reflection Has It's Own Benefits
Reflection Has It's Own Benefits

“I love the man who can smile in trouble, gather strength from distress and grow brave by reflection.”
Thomas Paine

Make your day GREAT.

It’s up to you. Always has been. Always will be.

You’re fully aware of this, right?

Happy Birthday, Son

Happy Birthday, Chapin.

Nine! Wow!

Last night at dinner in Indiana, my client asked me to describe our son, but only using one-word descriptors.

I wish the one-words would have rolled off my tongue. As I thought about it, words came to mind:

  • Honest
  • Techie
  • Compassionate
  • Brave
  • Smart
  • Athletic
  • Strong
  • Healthy
  • Spiritual
  • Helpful
  • Friendly
  • Nice
  • Courteous
  • Courageous
  • Funny
  • Understanding

Long ago, I asked our son a question, “If I lined up all the boys in the entire world, know which one would be my favorite”?

He thought for a a few moments, “Me”?

“Yes”!

Now when I ask him, I get to about the fourth word in the question and he exclaims in no uncertain terms, “Me”!

Ba-da-ba-ba-ba, I’m luvin’ it! Carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂
