Don’t follow Christians

Hidden Mickey by jeff noel
Hidden Mickey at Virginia Falls in Glacier National Park. The purpose of Lent is often hidden too.

Don’t follow Christians, follow Jesus.

Christians are messed up because they’re human.

Flawed.

Hopeful.

Caring.

Yet weak.

The devil makes Christians look stupid far too often.

The devil could never make Jesus look stupid.

Don’t follow Christians and expect to not be let down.

PS. Do the math on Christians too. An overwhelming percentage of great humanitarian deeds and inspiring rallying to serve the underserved are initiated and carried out by Christians.

Of course Christians are hypocrites

What an amazing perspective. There is hope for humanity, right? PS. nb means non-binary.

Personally, i can not argue with this.

Humans (every last one of us) are perfectly imperfect.

Prevailing wisdom (aka common sense).

Lets us see the world through eyes that aren’t concerned with ruffling feathers.

Honest.

Fair.

Questions everything.

Thought-provoking.

Of course Christians are hypocrites.

Why do you think God invented Churches?

The fellowship of sinners changes everything we see

Church epiphany
Yesterday, January 7, 2018.

Think Christians are hypocritical?

No doubt, for sure, we are.

Think Christians should get a clue?

Absolutely. Totally agree.

So.

So, are you staying away from a “Church community” because of realities like the two above?

What if.

What if you went into it (Church Community commitment) thinking that organized religion is nothing more than…drum roll…..

The fellowship of sinners.

Seeing Christians as the hypocritical sinners they (we) are changes everything we see.

Christians are such an easy target

Field of Florida wildflowers
Yesterday, off the beaten path.

The funny thing about Christians is how easy it is to criticize them.

The world, largely, thinks Christians think they’re perfect.

So when an imperfect Christian (which is all of them) does something hypocritical to core Christian values, everyone be like, “See, Christians need to shut up”.
