Real Life In Real Time….

Disney Cruise Ships Dream

This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad…but don’t forget your promises…to yourself, and to others. It’s not always easy when…

…you’re in the middle of real life in real time, and in a very different location.

I’ve never prayed in such a public place before. On my knees. Unashamed….

Pray Without Ceasing

Pray without ceasing. It rolls off our tongues so easily.

But do we?

Do we actually do it?

This is one of the biggest challenges humans face and the main reason we are so disconnected from what we want and from what we actually get.

Ever wonder what you’d get if you actually DID pray without ceasing?

Find a million ways to do this – to stay in the moment. Those continuous, seemingly insignificant moments that make up our day. Day after day. Week after week. Month after month. Year after year.

What If You Did?

What if you started everyday on your knees? And if you don’t have knees, like a few of my friends, use whatever position would be your equivalent.

What would happen to you if you did this every day?

Would it ruin your morning?

Would it be disgustingly inconvenient?

Would you look or feel like a fool?

This begs a question. “Why don’t you start everyday this way? Seriously”.

Know-It-All?

Just when you think you know it all, you can quickly be reminded what a pathetic thought that is.

I was writing for an hour this morning before it hit me.

One-hundred days. Remember yesterday’s post? Blah, blah, blah, right?

Well, how quickly I can falter.

So a few minutes ago, upon realizing, even after 100 days, I didn’t do what I was so full of yesterday, I went to the foot of our bed and got down on my knees.

Don’t know where I’d be without forgiveness. Seriously.

It’s better than anything in our medicine cabinet.

Have a GREAT day. It’s up to you. Carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂

PS. Take two aspirin and call me in the morning……. or, just get down on your knees and forgive yourself.
