O Holy Night

To everyone who believes in the mystery of Faith, may you find what you need to live with peace and contentment.

Peace with who you are.

Content with what you have.

For me, Christmas Eve signifies the birth of a Savior.

Meanwhile, our Church’s Fall Festival begins today, a Thursday, October 24, 2019 – think small town carnival with a Ferris wheel, etc.

What is your attitude about diversity?

From LinkedIn i think.

What is your attitude about diversity?

Diversity can also be diversity of thought.

Don’t depend on each other for happiness.

You must be self-made with happiness.

When you are with a partner who is also self-made, you multiple happiness rather than divide it.

What happens two people see the same thing, under different lens?

Vacant land near Disney World
No, we are not on Safari. Our cousin is taking a picture of her empty lot near Walt Disney World.

Florida field
Yesterday we found a path in an overgrown lot.

One family (who lives there) accepts that the weeds are eight feet tall because they never saw the growth because it was insidiously slow.

Another family sees the growth for the first time and is astounded at how out of control the weeds are.

Two people see the same thing, under different lenses.

It’s the same with religion.

Same with attitude.

It Gets Better video

Love is at the center of the human experience. No matter our spiritual beliefs, love is the common denominator. The supreme unifying precept.

Hate has never solved a single problem.

There’s a common sense premise that says if we can put a face and a name to the person (or thing) at the center of our beliefs, it’s better than if we can’t (or won’t).

We never talk about ‘religion’

Mid Life Celebration graphic design
Epcot celebrates what unites us and what makes us different

Mid Life Celebration’s graphic designer is Jewish.

We never talk about ‘religion’.

Why should we?

It’s a business relationship and the clock ticks every time we meet at his house studio.

So there’s no opportune time. It’s not the focus.

No more than us doing pushups or stretching to stay fit during our sessions.

To make one another feel awkward about our unwavering beliefs would be so uncomfortable.

Fellow Christians, telling someone else they are ‘wrong’ is no different than someone else telling us we are wrong.

How is that even remotely fair?

So don’t do it.

In fact, it’s best to create a habit were we don’t even think it. Anymore. Ever.
