Why so busy?

First Robin of the Florida winter season
Winter arrives silently in Florida – no snow to announce its arrival. In 18 years, i forgot to log it twice. And three times it hasn’t happened until January, like yesterday.

The reason i struggle with so many things in life isn’t that God is absent.

The reason is that i allow myself to get busier than i can handle.

A quiet moment (in a busy morning) yesterday alerted me to the sound of a Robin Red Breast.

A prayer for overflowing fortitude

Inspiring quote about perspective
The guy in front of me at a race viewing point.

A prayer for overflowing fortitude – courage in adversity – as a developing adult, and as parents of developing adults.

Have fun and try to comprehend the many blessings

High School Cross Country practice
Early mornings, like 6:40am yesterday, are the best time.

Yesterday morning’s practice was easy and short in preparation for today’s exhibition meet. Have fun and try to comprehend the many blessings that have led you to this moment. The list is long yet invisible if you don’t consciously focus on it.
