Live in surrender every moment of every new day

Returning the metal room key, i discovered a fellow Cast Member, Bonnie, and we have a good friend in common, Jeff Williford.

College buddy and his wife were visiting on a separate vacation – we met up at Glacier Park Lodge at 7:30am yesterday. They drove over from Whitefish.

A rational person can find peace by cultivating indifference to things outside of their control. – unknown

Yesterday’s (and this morning’s) weather is unseasonably cold.

The great news is the region is desperate for rain to combat multiple fires.

As i type this (and you’ll see tomorrow), there is snow on every peak around. Today is August 27, not January 27.

Live every day as if it’s your last (because it could be)

To say Apgar Village is deserted is an understatement. That lone person is me, on the Glacier webcam.

The final week of August leading into Labor Day weekend is one of the season’s busiest. That’s me waving in the rental car.

Live every day as if it’s your last (because it could be).

This statement, too, means nothing without intentional, over-focused effort.

It’s a big reason yesterday began the fourth Glacier National Park visit this Summer (2018).

How do you scale peace and contentment for an entire lifetime?

Disney motivational Speaker
Going-To-The-Sun Road, and a nice book about life balance.

How do you scale peace and contentment for an entire lifetime?

Find a million ways to stay motivated.

Live as if every day is a new day (because it is).

Live as if every day could be your last (because it could).

Compassion, forgiveness, humility, generosity, patience, surrender, gratitude, joy, faith, hope, and love – these are superfoods for your spirit.

Learn to be at peace with who you are and learn to be content with what you have.

Ifs, ands, and buts (mostly ifs) (GNP trip 4, spirit)

Garden Wall Glacier

Going-To-The-Sun Road (faint horizontal line) is currently closed on the West side.

Our spirit is not fed with unfulfilled ifs.

If is a dangerous word.

If can be addicting.

If can be inspiring.

If can be an excuse.

If can bring hope.

Alcohol can bring temporary relief, or gradually diminished capacity to cope with the real word in sober terms.
