  • Sperry Glacier is about 300 acres now. At one time it was 800 acres.
  • Sperry Glacier.
  • Glacially-carved rock floor.
  • Bearhat Mountain, center.
  • Sperry provides three meals per nightly reservation: dinner the day you hike in, breakfast, and a bagged lunch the next day.
  • Simply, yet incredibly wonderful considering where you are and what you are doing.
  • Pixar Soul released Spring 2021. Joe and Mr. Mittens (22’s earthly form).
  • Joe and Mr. Mittens.
  • Our Son’s College was founded in 1885 in Baltimore. Ten years later, the first “White man” found Sperry Glacier.
  • Mountain Goats are common.

Hiking 6.5 miles uphill yesterday provided a unique Church opportunity.

It’s not every day you hike six-plus miles uphill (with 3,400’ elevation gain). Some go a lifetime and never do it.

Brainstormed a company vision/purpose statement:

We care for our students like they’ll care for their patients.

Not a bad day at Church.

Nature deficit disorder is common. Obesity is common. Anxiety is common. Being outside is not common. Being outside, daily, alleviates much of what plagues humans. Walk. Climb a tree. Watch a butterfly. Be a child. It’s good for many disorders.
