Dear Son

One week, two wins

Notice?

One week, two wins.

First time publicly at a beach without a shirt.

First time running two miles continuously. The usual one mile warm up, a short break, and then a 1.1 mile second half.

At Disney i labeled these “seemingly insignificant” events.

They seem insignificant, but they are anything but.

Be a noticer and rejoice in what you notice, even the small stuff.

Now, What’s At The Very Center Of Your Center?

Jesus

Yesterday’s exercise was the beginning, but not the final answer. You’re finished when you can drill down to the center of your center. If you said Family, what’s at the center of that? If you said God, what’s at the center of that?

Insight: In either case, Jesus would be an excellent final answer.

What’s At The Very Center Of Your Circle?

At the center is something very beautiful.

Draw a circle on a piece of paper. Inside the circle write words or phrases describing the most important things in your life. Got it? Now put the most important thing in the very center.

Insight: The ability to quickly articulate the very center of your life gives you a focus uncommon to mortals.
