Doing the right things right

Anything more important than balancing your mind, body, spirit, work, home?

Doing the right things right.

Seems so obvious.

There’s a perverse reality that many are doing the wrong things right.

In a distracted, medicated, and entertained world, we are severely inadequate at carving out self-reflection time.

To thine own self be true?

Not if we don’t know our priorities, our values, and our purpose.

Seems so obvious, but it isn’t.

You know exactly what i’m talking about.

Congrats on working diligently to over-focus on your priorities, values, and purpose.

If Disney was your spiritual advisor

Received this yesterday from a Lee Cockerell mastermind attendee.

If Disney was your spiritual advisor, you’d immediately surrender to the frustration and anxiety you feel because your official podcast launch is botched.

Why?

Because this is a first world problem.

And because there is an almost obscene abundance of goodness in your life.

Blessings immeasurable.

So grateful it literally defies explanation.

Letting go of the fact that what i said would happen hasn’t yet.

Public virtue, private vice

Dr Jeykl and Mr Hyde, we all know the gist of the story.

By day one person, by night a monster.

In High School, one student’s dad was our Pastor and essentially, it’s hard to be the guy in the pulpit seven days a week.

Just because it’s challenging, doesn’t mean we should give up trying.

Don’t base your beliefs on what others fail to do

undaunted Goucher College
Love this, undaunted.

Don’t base your beliefs on what others fail to do.

Hypocrites make for bad role models.

Truth is, we are all hypocrites.

We wouldn’t need peace and contentment if we were perfect.

Strive to base your belief system of what would make our world, and your life, a beautiful place to live.
