The other day while biking.
One parent is missing a foot.

Survival of the fittest.

In nature, it’s as real as it gets.

No truer truth.

In first-world human civilization, we forget.

If you aren’t focused on the basics as an animal, you get eaten.

If you aren’t focused as a human with the basics of mind, body, spirit, work, and home, you get eaten as well.

A different kind of eaten, but essentially dead, as you are going through the motions.

Highly discouraged

Disney’s Hollywood Studios motorcycle parking. Yesterday.

Security Officer Greg (22 years of service) and Brian (parking/security leader at Epcot) clarified that while bicycling on property is strongly discouraged, it is legal to do so.

My only “legal” requirement is to avoid “Authorized Vehicles Only” (AVO) roads with the main exception being the North property exit passing Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa or passing Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

These two northbound exits have AVO signs which do not apply to their official request.

In our closing conversations, and at our mutually agreeable verbal clarification – around 9:30AM in the Epcot Guest parking lot (near “handicapped” parking) – i am free to ride Northbound past either The Contemporary or Grand Floridian unto AVO roads in order to exit by Disney University.
