Where Will This Lead?
Where Will This Lead?

Have you ever felt totally vulnerable? I mean, to our entire world? Me neither. Until last year.

What started years ago as a half-hearted, but well-intentioned effort to blog, has now become a labor of love.

Five blogs daily. Every day. Crazy. Wonderful. Exciting.

A couple weeks ago, I humbly invited any followers to consider being a Guest Blogger in one of the five areas – Mind, Body, Spirit, Money, HQ.

Tomorrow, you will meet Bob, a Tennessee native. Bob has been so encouraging over the past year. His insights are always effective – revealing what we might call, “the truth”.

Tomorrow, “Who’s Not Capable?”

Rejoice In The Lord

Rejoice In The Lord. That was Sunday’s message. Rejoice!

This is a great goal, to rejoice. How is it done though? Life is so crazy busy that sometimes, I don’t know what day it is.

Ever feel like that?

Or, perhaps some people, this year especially, are struggling so much financially, that they can’t see straight.

So, what are we supposed to do? How does one rejoice under these circumstances?

We all know the answer, don’t we?

Faith, Hope and Love

Faith, Hope and Love.

Doesn’t get much simpler than that.

And yet there are so many temptations that take us away from simple.

Simple doesn’t mean easy. Take diet and exercise. Two simple concepts to lower cholesterol and maintain a healthy body weight.

Yet, if it were easy, very few of us would have to worry about cholesterol and weight. Ya with me?

So, what does this have to do with Faith, Hope and Love?

Everything! Carpe diem.

Blessed Beyond Measure?

Blessed Beyond Measure?

What does that mean, blessed beyond measure?

Ever thought about that?

We have so many blessings that it’s almost too good to be true.

But in order to “cash in” on them, I believe we have to be aware.

Not much awareness goes on in an overly busy schedule. I know. I’m ridiculously busy.

This is why I work so hard each day to be aware.

What if you worked hard at this? What do you think you could gain? Go! Carpe diem! jeff 🙂

Got 70 pounds?

A few nights ago, I asked our son, eight, to weigh himself.

The scale said 70 pounds.

Wow!

Sometimes, as much as I claim to live in the moment, the moments pass by unnoticed.

Guilty as charged. Seventy pounds. How did that happen? When did that happen.

Every adult I’ve asked for advice on raising children – and there have been hundreds over the years – has said the same thing, “They grow up fast!”

Our lives can be one big flurry of activity with little time in the slow lane.

My goal is to be the slowest of the fastest. Seriously. Check out tomorrow’s post at Lane 8.org for the “punch line”.

Carpe diem, jeff noel 🙂
