Help me to stay focused on the opportunity and not on the cost

Southwest Air digital boarding pass
Heading to Washington, DC today for an Executive Overview tomorrow morning.

Today and tomorrow help me to stay focused on the opportunity and not on the (time) cost.

There’s an exception to every rule.

Know yourself well enough to know when to be flexible and when to stay true to your values.

i don’t do sales pitches.

So tomorrow’s hour will be out of my comfort zone because that’s what the client has asked for. They are auditioning two or three top candidates and deciding which one to hire.

Transparency can be incredibly easy

Business meeting notes
Notes from yesterday’s (a Sunday) meeting.

Transparency can be incredibly easy, whether you want it to be or not.

i want it to be.

Notes from yesterday’s meeting, posted publicly for posterity.

The Internet ensures there are no secrets.

Do the right things for the right reasons, and never do anything you wouldn’t want to be public knowledge.

Simple prayer: Live your life so that if anyone ever said anything bad about you, no one would believe it.

Can Opportunity Be Weird?

Sorta excited to see what's inside.
It would be so easy to start judging the owner.
But I refuse to.

Opportunity is weird, making it invisible. What I thought might be a chance for an interesting material discovery, was really an opportunity to learn about myself.

The opportunity to wonder about the lives of the people who lived here. The opportunity to pray for what appears to be squashed dreams.
