The rewards are worth the (tireless) effort

Arrived early.

Was the only parent attending. Arranged with administration to attend to benchmark the speaker.

Pro wrestler turned man-on-a-mission, after his 20-year old daughter was killed by a repeat DUI offender in 2015.

A testament to the emotional reaction from the students….signing a poster.

Windermere Prep Safety
Have heard rave reviews from Faculty about Tim. This is next week’s speaker benchmark opportunity; however, this one is a parents only event.

Prepping for adulthood can be draining and it can also be the opposite of draining.

Moving from adult-child mindset to adult-adult mindset.

The rewards are worth the (tireless) effort.

Dear Son, thank you for giving Mom the gift of Motherhood.

In all your 17 years, i’ve never thought of Mother’s Day this way.

Why now?

While in Louisville the past four days, i did more than the usual thinking.

Deeper thinking.

Brought on by exciting and different ways to run my business in 2019 and beyond.

Back to you and Mother’s day…

You have been such a blessing to guide, teach, learn from, and have fun with.

Thank you.

Common sense health advice
Yesterday while waiting for my monthly allergy shots (i get 3 shots every visit). Common sense, eh?

During yesterday’s hour-long client meeting, we discussed purpose and meaning – professionally and personally.

His good friend (married, kids, established medical doctor) wants to be a screenwriter.

The impression i got is that the Doc no longer finds enough joy in his work to continue practicing medicine.

It was a career expectation that began with his parents.

Decades later he’s miserable, uncertain, and fearful.

Why?

He helps so many people.

But it’s not enough to fill his void.

Journey On

Answered prayers often come disguised

Answered prayers often come disguised.

My goal isn’t to make him a runner.

My goal is to make him an adult.

An adult with a balanced approach to mind, body, spirit, work, and home.

Being on the Cross-Country team would cover all five boxes, with body leading the way, and mind and spirit a close second.

The unanswered prayer is that he keeps finding it plausible to return to practice.
