Is a preacher exempt from her preaching?

Google has algorithms that do not instantaneously change. Seriously.

Is a preacher exempt from her preaching?

Yesterday afternoon…

I picture the four of us John – you, me, your 14-year old son, and my 15-year old son in a room together discussing this. And we discuss matters in a way that both our boys could recite or accurately paraphrase back to a stranger, the specific nature of the allegations, the damage done, the clear, concise, and compelling proof of willful, and harmful, wrong-doing.

Pretty sure neither one of our boys would believe that Google’s search engine algorithms change instantaneously. And in this case, vanish versus drop.

This reinforces why I feel we need to talk again. I’m confident this makes sense, and is the right thing to do.

Once again, I sincerely appreciate your time, patience, and attention.

John, sorry for the extra email…one thing i heard you say that i wrote down was that “i recently started appearing in search engine results for ‘the keyword’.”

After we hung up on Friday, and again Saturday morning, i went 12 pages deep in Google and didn’t see anything.

Do you have a link or screen shot so i can wrap my arms around that?

Thanks again.

What Do You Live For?

In your daily routine, are you consciously engaged, moment to moment?

This is what I have trained myself to do. Maybe it’s because, as a professional speaker (a preacher man of sorts), that the best preaching is a great example, not rhetoric.

If you really want to know my secrets, that’s one of the biggest. To not be a hypocrite.

Be The Bait

Thanks to one of the biggest fisher’s of men, Z Radio, for inspiring this post…

Ever find yourself in a position where you would have, decades previous, bet a million dollars it would never happen? But for some mysterious reason, there you are, bigger than life, doing what you said you wouldn’t ever or couldn’t ever do?

So there I am, this past Sunday, delivering the Homily (Sermon) to dozens of Kindergarten – 5th Grade children. The Gospel message was to follow Jesus and be fishers of men.

Be the bait. You help catch ’em, he’ll clean ’em.
