Shhhh, your attitude wants to say something

Happy present moment. Our attitude for the future directly, and with profound quiet, impacts our present moments.

In the stillness

The final day in Glacier National Park, September 27, 2019.

In the stillness, answers appear.

And if we’re really lucky, so do questions.

The loss of slowness.

The rarity of quiet contemplation.

The battle between the overwhelm, distraction, connectivity – and – solitude, reflection, and peace.

Where does this battle leave you in your day-to-day?

Are you ok with it?

Still fighting for victory?

Given up?

What’s your next move?

Hurry, the clock is ticking.

Being still and quiet should never be far away

Epcot's Canada pavilion
Epcot’s Canada pavilion. Yesterday (a day early) i sent my client a text of this, telling her, “i’m in Canada today.”

Even with a busy three-day business trip, i plan on carving out quiet, self-reflective space from otherwise busy days in unfamiliar places, surrounded by unfamiliar people.

When will we be still? When will we figure out we control the controllables? The rest is in God’s hands.

So our portion sizes. Our financial self-discipline. Our work ethic. Our desk. These are all things we can control. Not easily though.
