International Graphic Designer on your team?

The check arrives this morning from Canada (lower left corner). The engagement is later this month.

Met with my International Graphic Designer for lunch yesterday. It was great to catch up face-to-face. Imagine having someone with seven years of full-time International reach with their graphic design work, but they are unable to share their work with prospective clients because they were a contracted employee – for one of the world’s most admired companies.

i asked her how many of her clients pay her in advance.

“None, you’re the only one”, she said.

Insight: If i always expect to get paid in advance, why would i not do the same for the people i hire?

If you want blessings, give blessings freely.

It’s good (midlife) karma.
