Airport check-in with teachers at 6:30am yesterday. Wheels up 8:30am.

He’s got a box (with four sides) to work within:

  1. Honesty
  2. Behave admirably
  3. Personal responsibility
  4. Self-control

Have the time of your life and stay in your box.

On April Fool’s Day 2009, jeff noel began writing five daily, differently-themed blogs (on five different sites). It was to be a 100-day self-imposed “writer’s bootcamp”, in preparation for writing his first book. He hasn’t missed a single day since.

The induction for new members was last night.

Reminded our Son at bedtime that the honor came to him because his passion for writing, and for writing well, was easily recognized by the people who know English.

Developing our spirit means developing our self confidence.

Jesus taught His disciples to not worry about what they would say because the words would be provided to them at their time of need. This is the epitome of confidence.

Thanks to the few who take the risk

This morning i noticed a new feature – senior athletes being showcased.

 

Thanks to the few who take the risk. The high school security staff member created a very diplomatic opportunity to ask me to wear a shirt when i jog on campus. He didn’t have to.

But he did.

It would have been easier for him to look the other way.

But he didn’t.

What’s remarkable is that i had previously asked a high ranking school official if the running was completed by 7:15am, is it an issue? He reminded me that the cross country team runs shirtless and he was ok with it.

After returning our son to school, i went to the school store and bought two dri-fit tee shirts. A creative, easy solution.

Spending time at the Montessori school classroom, playground and parkour area on a regular basis builds familiarity. Time is one of the best ways to build trust.

Trust is one of the best ways to influence others.
