Get outside

Our home is built to live with December temps in the 70’s, even into the evening.

Get outside.

What?

Want to lift your spirit or the spirits of others?

Get outside.

In an hour, i have the distinct and recurring blessing to walk two miles to the gym.

Wherever you live it’s a given that it’s your responsibility to have appropriate clothes for year round weather.

i mean, this is where you spend decades of you life, if not all of it.

PS. Looking forward to today’s second two-mile walk after an hour in the gym.

Stormy weather is part of nature (and life)

Sanibel Island Coconut Palm trees
From my office yesterday during “stormy” weather.

Stormy weather is part of nature (and life).

Acting all panicky when the sky turns dark is a learned response.

Anticipating and being prepared for stormy weather allows us to remain calm in the midst of nature’s onslaught.

Same with life’s onslaught.

Bad things happen to good people.

Makes a great case for living like you mean it.

Tomorrow is never guaranteed.

Not for us.

Not for the people we love.

On April Fool’s Day 2009, jeff noel began writing five daily, differently-themed blogs (on five different sites). It was to be a 100-day self-imposed “writer’s bootcamp”, in preparation for writing his first book. He hasn’t missed a single day since.
