How’s this draft?

How’s this draft:

Wow, didn’t expect to see you. What brings you here?

What if the above two sentences is all there is initially?

What if it is like a text thread?

Short and sweet.

Personal.

Specific, yet open-ended.

Has potential.

Where ya going?

book mid Life Celebration by a lake
2014, maybe 2015. Lake McDonald. Glacier National Park.

Dude, where ya going with this?

Always going somewhere.

Even when it doesn’t seem so.

It’s part of me playing with the muscle memory.

Asked myself, what kind of business is my Plan B going to be?

Speaking!

i already know how to do that.

But i should write a book as a “business card”. All successful speakers are authors.

Magic is taking something expected and making it delightfully unexpected.

What advice would anyone give someone who is about to write a welcome to “blah-blah-blah” company’s newsletter – you know, the place to go to get the latest and greatest from “blah-blah-blah”?

What say ye?

Well, for starters, please don’t be formulaic.

Secondly, surprise the heck out of the receiver.

Okay.

Sounds reasonable.

And by reasonable, i mean reasonable for someone who’s compelled and super-willing to try things that might not work.

You were born to give

Typo. No one is perfect. If Disney Ran Your Life….

Yet another debt of honor for which there can be no fulfilled repayment.

Only repay what you are able for as long as you are able.

All of the following are verbs:

Give.

Serve.

Surrender.

Breath.

Hope.

Love.

Write.

Today, when this goes live, the 12th consecutive year of writing five daily, differently-themed blog posts begins. Yesterday concluded, obviously, the 11th year without missing a single day.

In the giving, you receive.

Speaking from 11 years of writing experience.
