One week ago on December 8 was the official “six months remaining to live” from the original “what would you do if you had 10 years left to live?”
Such an obscure, crazy, and uncomfortable goal.
What if it transforms my life?
What if it alienates me from others?
Life is full of habits and rituals that never allow most humans to legitimately and originally answer, “What if?”
This is the headwaters for regret.

Most of you read all five different, daily blogs I write, so you know today is New Year’s Day 2012 as I write this, but in reality it’s April Fool’s Day as it’s posted.
Looking back 90 days, here’s what I
am was thinking on the first day of 2012.
Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves. – Jesus
Pray without ceasing. It rolls off our tongues so easily.
But do we?
Do we actually do it?
This is one of the biggest challenges humans face and the main reason we are so disconnected from what we want and from what we actually get.
Ever wonder what you’d get if you actually DID pray without ceasing?
Find a million ways to do this – to stay in the moment. Those continuous, seemingly insignificant moments that make up our day. Day after day. Week after week. Month after month. Year after year.
Is this your year to do something great?
It sure has been a great year of blogging. The blogging has been inspired by the realization that the clock is ticking.
If this hasn’t been “your year”, why not? What needs to change? What is the missing link?
If we knew this, maybe we’d be acting on it already. Not necessarily. For example, I know what I need to do. But doing it is the hard part.
New Year’s resolutions. They hardly ever work. So start making plans to do it differently. Start now. Today. Seriously.
